Learn the craft in a working workshop

I’ve been a qualified teacher for 40 years, training hundreds of students, young and old, to design and make furniture. Many have gone on to set up their own business; others simply wanted to earn a living doing what they love.

How many students?

Three at most, so you get close, daily contact with me. I keep working on commissions while I teach, so you’ll see the craft applied to real pieces — the best example of good workshop practice.

02

Why learn with me?

I’ve taught at colleges in London — where I was head of department — Devon and Somerset, and at private schools in the US and UK. I run occasional classes in Madrid and Marbella. My work has featured on TV, radio, in magazines and books.
